Ascend to the lantern room for a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake, harbor, and the distinct silhouette of the Porcupine Mountains, situated 20 miles away. Explore captivating maritime exhibits and browse through the diverse offerings at the museum's gift shop.

Standing three stories tall, or 39 feet from the water to the focal plane, the light tower is crowned by an iron decagonal beacon house, once home to the fifth-order Fresnel lens and light. Encircling the beacon house is a square iron gallery, complete with a platform and rail, adding to the lighthouse's picturesque allure.
