This place is definitely a gem. It's away from all hustle and bustle. It has gorgeous lake views as well as breath taking forest views. It is a great place to relax and take in nature in all of its glory. Beach access is a short walk across the street. They also have a small free standing general grocery store. I am in love with this place. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Great water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner.

Love this hotel! Great location, clean and spacious room, super friendly owner! The hotel is located inside the state park, and right by the lake. The owner was very helpful in setting up the room, making sure it's warm and cozy in the winter. I also love the fact that we're both from Chicago and were able to connect that way. I would recommend this hotel to whoever is visiting the Porkies, and I'm looking forward to staying here again during my next visit.

There has been a lot of updating done here recently. The owners were very friendly, and the location is amazing. You can watch a beautiful sunset over lake superior from your room and it is right across the street. You are also right at the base of the porcupine mountains and around the corner from some spectacular waterfalls.

Had a great stay here. The hotel is situated right across from Lake Superior, you can see the lake right from the hotel room. Andy the owner was helpful during our stay, and very friendly. The hotel also had a little breakfast bar which was convenient in the mornings. Another plus is this hotel is near Lake in the Clouds and Porcupine Mtn.

Beautiful location for hotel. Across the street beach of Lake Superior. Nice and clean inside. Very good continental breakfast. Owners extremely nice and cooperative. I was there in October so Beautiful fall colors everywhere, you can seat watch and relax your mind. My goal is to go back in winter and enjoy the view of the northern lights.

I had called to double check my booking and the woman who answered the phone was friendly and happy to help. Check in experience was easy and great service. Clean rooms and priced fair for its location. Loved having a little store out front as well. Great setting, surrounded by nature and right across from a small beach. I would recommend.

Beautiful location, you can see Lake Superior right from the hotel, and it was very close to the Porcupine Mountains where we wanted to explore. They are undergoing some construction but still great service, and great complimentary breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot with amazing views of Superior. The rooms were comfortable with delightful decorative touches and quality amenities. Owners/staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Thank you, hope to visit again soon!

Honestly are they perfect? They try. Super hard working family to give the best service possible. They’re bringing something great to Silver City and I for one, am here for it. The location is PERFECT. The hotel rooms are the cheapest around and they accommodate to every need when possible. Are they perfect? No. Are they worth every penny? One hundred percent yes. The price is right and the rooms are good enough for me and my family. Especially for the location. Just spent our third year with them a few days ago. And will spend many more.

First off the people saying the owner is not polite probably get offended at something every time they leave their driveway. This place is awesome. We stayed in our 40’ RV 50 and 30 amp electric and water and sewer where at every site. Some of the best views at any campground around. The owner is super nice and accommodating as well. You can tell they have/are putting their blood, sweat, and tears into this place. My wife said it best, “I like everything about this place!” Definitely a hidden gem.

Right in the park and very close to porcupine mountains/lake of the clouds. Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They are working on updating and adding to the place so there was construction going on but that didn't bother us. Standing at the hotel you can hear and see the water. Amazing view!! Room was 100$ + tax which was cheaper than any hotels in Iron wood. Would definitely stay here again. They have wifi otherwise you prob won't get any with your cell phones but that's okay because it's nice to disconnect for awhile. Nice little breakfast avaliable in the morning
