The Porcupine Mountains boast 11 miles of slopes sprawled across a 100-acre terrain within a 320-acre expanse. Offering some of the most affordable daily ticket prices among comparable ski areas in the Midwest, it's the perfect destination for budget-conscious snow enthusiasts.
Slops
With a variety of trails catering to all skill levels, the Porcupine Mountains features 7 intermediate, 5 challenging expert, and 3 novice trails. Boasting a vertical drop of 641 feet, the highest in both Michigan and Wisconsin, thrill-seekers will find plenty of excitement. One of the novice trails stretches an impressive 5,800 feet, offering ample space for beginners to hone their skills.
Snowboarding
Snowboarders are embraced with open arms at our resort.
For those seeking adventure on the slopes, our Eastern Summit is serviced by a triple chair and T-bar lift, while the Western Summit features a double chair. Additionally, a handle tow is available for access to the bunny slope. With a lift capacity of 3,600 skiers per hour, you'll spend less time waiting and more time enjoying the thrill of the ride.
Ski Trails
Embark on a cross-country skiing adventure amidst the breathtaking landscape surrounding the main hill, with over 25 miles (42 kilometers) of meticulously groomed trails. Comprising four main trails and several smaller ones, our trail system offers a diverse and exhilarating skiing experience. Thanks to the diligent efforts of the Friends of the Porkies, our trails are power-tilled and groomed daily, ensuring optimal conditions for your enjoyment.
Your pass grants you access to not only the Nordic trail system but also the chair lifts, providing skiers with swift access to both the heart of the cross-country trails and the entire Alpine ski area. Along these scenic trails, three warming huts welcome all visitors, offering a cozy respite from the cold. Additionally, three rustic 8-bunk cabins are available for rent throughout the winter, providing a unique opportunity for an unforgettable skiing retreat.
